Boullion continues to lead for Pescarolo, with Lapierre having moved up to second after the pitstops. The 007 and 009 Aston Martin Lolas run 3rd and 4th respectively.
LMP2 leader Olivier Pla sufferd a problem in the middle of the start/finish straight and slowed dramatically, before finding drive once again and continuing. He only made it to the exit of Maggots, however, before pulling off for good.
Johnny Kane now leads the class in the no. 33 Lola ahead of RML’s Lola driven by Tommy Erdos. Nigel Mansell’s Ginetta Zytek rejoined after losing around half an hour with suspension damage.
Karim Ajlani spun the 35 OAK Racing Pescarolo in the middle of Luffield and, in trying to spin back in the right direction, managed to beach the car in the gravel on the exit.
Pilet and Melo continue at the front in GT2, while the championship leading Felbermayr-Proton Porsche with MArc Lieb at the wheel has slipped to 7th in class, but their title rival JMW Motorsport are in third, 45s behind the leaders.
