1h: Stunning Opening Stint For Boullion

Jean-Cristophe Boullion completed a mega first hour as he rose to 1st overall, ahead of the two Aston Martin Lolas, after starting from the back of the grid. Dispatching of Lapierre and Belicchi as they negotiated lapped traffic, he was then quickly on the back of Darren Turner in the 009 car.

A mistake from Turner allowed him past and onto his next target of Mucke in the 007 car. An outstanding move around the outside of Mucke and a GT2 car in the complex saw him take the lead with just 50 minutes of the race complete.

Meanwhile, Nigel Mansell suffered suspected right rear suspension failure around the 35 minute mark in the Team LNT Ginetta Zytek but was able to bring the car back to the pits where it is undergoing repairs.

Olivier Pla continues to lead in LMP2, as does Laurent Groppi in GT1. Patrick Pilet maintains the advantge in GT2 in the IMSA Performance Matmut Porsche ahead Jamie Melo in the Team Modena Ferrari.
